MARRIAGE EQUALITY

I’m grateful! I’m gay! I want cake! What a momentous and magical day. I’d totally celebrate with a champagne toast, but I’ve got that whole alcoholic thing going on at the moment. But cake? CAKE GOOD.

  1. That cake looks sooo good. I am feeling so many mixed emotions after today’s ruling. I think cake would be a great way to celebrate! My gf and I have been together for 12 years, and have been waiting for this day so we could get married in either our home state (OH) or the state we live in now (GA). I’m happy this day is finally here, but also a little scared! I’ve had people already IM me today asking when the wedding will be. It seems like the pressure is on now to plan the greatest wedding, evah, but not spend every last dime we have… I guess it’s a good problem to have!

  2. And the President sang Amazing Grace at the eulogy. The sweetness and hope this day brought could not even be tempered by Scalia having a tantrum and publicly attacking the other Justices for their majority vote.
